Some important changes have been made in the loyalty program of select credit cards of HDFC and they will be implemented from October 1, 2024. Will anything change?
Under the new rules, if customers buy any Apple product using the ‘Smartbuy’ platform, then now they can get rewards for the purchase of this product only once in 3 months. Also, from October 1, 2024, you can now get reward points only once on a quarterly basis for shopping from Tanishq. Keep in mind that these changes will be applicable only on HDFC Bank’s Infinia and Infinia Metal Credit Cards.
There have been changes before
Let us tell you that on 1 September 2024, necessary changes were made in the rules of credit card by HDFC Bank. After these changes, a maximum of 2000 reward points could be obtained in a month for doing utility transactions through HDFC Bank credit card. Not only this, if you use HDFC Bank credit card to pay the bill of a telecom company, then a maximum of 2000 reward points can be obtained for this in a month. Also, no reward will be received on education payments made with the help of third party apps like CRED, Mobikwik.
