Credit card for Small Businessmen’s: Govt will give a credit card of Rs 5 lakh to small businessmen, registration process

New Delhi. The big gift given to small businessmen in Budget 2025 is now going to be realised. From April this year, micro entrepreneurs are going to start giving credit cards with a limit of Rs 5 lakh.

With this facility, micro units can get Rs 30000 crore in the next few years in addition to other types of loans to expand their business. To avail the benefits of this scheme and credit card, small businessmen will have to register.

Limits and conditions for getting credit

With a limit of Rs 5 lakh, this credit card will be available to everyone from shopkeepers to small manufacturing workers. However, these businessmen will be given credit cards after assessing UPI transactions, bank statements, business conditions. The validity of this card will be one year. The benefit of micro credit card from the government will be available only to those with an annual turnover of Rs 10-25 lakh.

How to get a business registered

To get a credit card from the government, small businessmen across the country need to register on the Udyam portal. After this, they can get an MSME credit card.
