If this happens, the employees will get increased salary. This increase will be applicable from July 2024. In such a situation, the employees will also be given arrears of four months between July and October.

It also provides financial relief amid rising inflation. There has been a lot of delay on the part of the central government regarding the increase in DA. How much salary will I get?

The increase in DA will also increase the salary of central government employees. If the monthly salary of an employee is Rs 50,000, then he will get an additional Rs 1500 if the DA increases by 3%.

How much DA do you get now

Central employees get DA and pensioners get DR. At present, DA is 50 per cent of the basic salary. It was last increased in March 2024. It was increased by 4 per cent. This increase was implemented from January 2024. There was no increase in DA in a long time. In such a situation, it is believed that the government can increase it before the festivals. Let us tell you that the announcement of DA increase is decided on the basis of Consumer Price Index, which measures changes in retail prices in different sectors.
