This is a scheme of Rs 24,000 crore which has been specially designed for the welfare of tribals. Under the Rs 24,000 crore scheme launched today for the welfare of the tribal community, various programs will be run for the tribal caste of Jharkhand and for many tribal tribes.

The PM said that he has seen unprecedented trust and affection for the BJP among the people of Madhya Pradesh. He said that Congress has accepted defeat even before the elections. He said, “Tomorrow is Tribal Pride Day, I will go to Jharkhand to pay respect to (tribal icon) Lord Birsa Munda.” The whole country will celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and on this occasion the central government will announce a scheme of Rs 24,000 crore for the welfare of tribals.

Prime Minister Modi launched the ‘Prime Minister’s Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups’ (PM PVTG) Mission from Birsa College grounds in Khunti district of Jharkhand on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, the symbol of pride of tribals and the third ‘Tribal Pride Day’, under the scope of which About 28 lakh PVTGs will come in India.

According to the official statement of the government, under the mission, the PVTG areas will be provided basic amenities like road and telecom connectivity, power, safe houses, clean drinking water and sanitation, better access to education, health and nutrition and opportunities for sustainable living.
