CBSE 10th-12th Board Practical Exam: According to the notice issued by CBSE, the practical exams will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024. The board has also released the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for the examinations along with the date of practical exams.

CBSE 10th, 12th Datesheet 2025: CBSE 10th and 12th board practical exams will start from November 5, 2024. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule of practical exams for matriculation and intermediate students. Students who are going to appear in the board examinations this year can check the schedule (CBSE 10th, 12th Board Practical Exam Schedule) and SOPs notice by visiting the official website of the board (CBSE) cbse.gov.in.

According to the notice released by CBSE, the practical exams will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024. The board has also released the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for the examinations along with the date of practical exams. The official notice states, “Practical examinations/projects/internal assessments for the session 2024-25 for classes 10th and 12th for winter schools will be held from November 5, 2024 (Tuesday) to December 5, 2024 (Thursday).”

Moreover, as per the board’s examination bye-laws and study plan, practical assessments for all affiliated schools in India and abroad will begin from January 1, 2025. However, winter schools may remain closed throughout January due to seasonal conditions.

Schools holding winter exams will have to follow guidelines, including preparing a final list of students, ensuring that only those included in the online list of candidates (LOC) participate, arranging for external examiners and supervisors through the regional office, and ensuring completion and sending of practical exam material on time.

75% attendance is necessary for board exams

Students must have 75 percent attendance to appear in CBSE 10th and 12th board exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official notice to the principals/heads of CBSE affiliated schools informing them about this. The board reminded all schools that Rule 13 and 14 of CBSE Examination Bye-laws should be strictly followed regarding the attendance of students in the 10th and 12th board examinations.

CBSE further wrote in the notice, ‘The Board provides 25% relaxation only in cases of emergencies like medical emergencies, participation in national or international sports events and other serious reasons, provided the required documents are submitted.’

Board exams may start from February 15

CBSE 10th and 12th board exams 2025 can start on 15 February, which will run till April. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can release the date sheet of the upcoming board exam (CBSE Board Exam 2025) in December.

Schools will not be able to conduct exams without CCTV cameras

CBSE has told the schools that the examination rooms should be equipped with high-tech CCTV cameras with pan, tilt and zoom facilities so that any area or student can be monitored. If any school does not have CCTV cameras installed, then that school will not be considered an examination centre.

44 lakh students will appear for board exams

According to CBSE, about 44 lakh students will appear in the 10th and 12th board exams in 2024. CBSE has taken this step to conduct the examination of such a large number of students smoothly and in a fair manner. In every examination center, one person will be appointed specifically to monitor 240 students. Students and parents have also been asked to give this information.
