New Delhi: State-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started home delivery of SIM cards in several places in the country. The company outsources the delivery work from other organizations.
Earlier this year, the delivery started in select areas of Gurugram and Ghaziabad in partnership with Prune. Now, the telecom operator is delivering SIM cards in Kerala. Customers can book a new BSNL SIM in Kerala through the LILO app. The LILO app is available to users on both iPhone and Android devices.
Work made easy with the help of the app
Customers can get a new SIM or port their number through the app. If you want a new BSNL SIM, you can do this. Then choose the desired plan along with the SIM and complete the purchase. If you have a 3G SIM, then BSNL is also giving 4GB data free on upgrading to a 4G SIM. To order BSNL SIM through WhatsApp, users can type Hi and send it to +91 8891767525.
Benefits of LILO app
Customers can first get a new SIM and then port their connection. There is also a facility to upgrade the existing SIM to 4G. SIM can be replaced or recharged. Recharging can also be done through BSNL Self Care app, while you can also do it through LILO app.
BSNL said that it has urban and rural coverage of mobile network in Kerala. Let us tell you that recently BSNL has installed 1000 4G towers in Kerala. The company has 2200 retailer outlets along with 39 customer service centers (CSC) in Kerala.
BSNL plans are more economical than the plans offered by private telecom operators. Thus, BSNL SIM can be a good option for a person living in Kerala. It can also be used as a secondary SIM to keep it as a backup.
