In this announcement, the government has said that 4% DA increase and bonus will be given as a gift. The special thing is that apart from government employees, the benefit of this increase will also be given to pensioners. In this way, this time the UP government has made the festival of Diwali a little more bright for its employees.

Central government increased DA

In fact, just some time ago, the Central Government had passed orders to increase dearness allowance by four percent for its staff officers and pensioners. Due to which the Uttar Pradesh government had also sent a proposal to increase dearness allowance by 4% to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through the state finance department. Now this proposal has been approved by the Yogi government. This amount will be released soon after the proposal is approved.

After the passing of this order from the Chief Minister’s Office, now all the officers, employees and pensioners of the state will get the benefit of 4% dearness allowance and the dearness allowance will now be increased from 42 percent to 46%. Apart from this, bonus will also be given to all non-gazetted employees of the state before Diwali. This move will benefit about 15 lakh employees and about 13 lakh pensioners of the state. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the state employees due to this good news.

JN Tiwari, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh State Employees Joint Council, has said regarding this that to determine the bonus, the minimum salary has been kept at Rs 18000 per month. The maximum bonus that will be provided by the state government has been fixed at Rs 7000, out of which 75 percent will be deposited in the employee’s provident fund.
