Tendu Patta Bonus 2024 MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will distribute Rs 115 crore bonus amount as dividend for collection of tendu leaves for the year 2023 to 36 lakh tendu leaf collectors from a state-level program organized at the Model School campus in Karahal, the tribal development block headquarters of Sheopur district on August 22.

Along with this, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development works. Bonus amount will be distributed to 52 thousand 305 collectors of 89 minor forest produce committees of a total of 6 forest divisions including Sheopur Forest Division of Gwalior and Shivpuri Forest Circles.

12 thousand 849 tendu leaf collectors are associated with them. Last year the target of tendu leaf collection was 22 thousand 490 standard sacks. In the year 2023, the rate of 1 thousand bundles of tendu leaf collection was fixed at Rs 3 thousand. In the year 2024, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has increased the rate of tendu leaf collection from Rs 3 thousand to Rs 4 thousand per standard sack.

Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Sheopur-Morena Lok Sabha constituency MP Shivmangal Singh Tomar, District In-charge Minister and New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla, Forest and Environment Minister Ramniwas Rawat, Agriculture Minister Edal Singh Kanshana, State Minister for Forest and Environment Dilip Ahirwar will be present in the program.

Development works will be inaugurated and foundation stone will be laid

During the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also inaugurate 13 development works constructed at a cost of Rs 21 crore 28 lakh. These include office of Forest Range Officer Budhera constructed at a cost of 22 lakh, line quarters constructed in Budhera and Karahal at a cost of 48 lakh each, Gurnavada Naljal Yojana work constructed at a cost of 4 crore 5 lakh, Mathepura Naljal Yojana work constructed at a cost of 1 crore 23 lakh, Makhanakhedli Naljal Yojana constructed at a cost of 1 crore, Meharwani Nal-Jal Yojana constructed at a cost of 99 lakh, Bankuri Naljal Yojana constructed at a cost of 40 lakh, Padampura Nal-Jal Yojana constructed at a cost of 40 lakh, Ichnakhedli Naljal Yojana constructed at a cost of 69 lakh and construction of 10 additional rooms in higher secondary schools constructed in village Bargawa, Girdharpur and Khirkhiri at a cost of 3.78 crore.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will lay the foundation stone of 188 construction works costing 16 crores in 80 villages of 63 gram panchayats of the district under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana in Vijaypur area. Along with this, the foundation stone will be laid for the beautification work of Sant Raidas (Regar) Ghat located in Ward No. 20 of Sheopur city at a cost of Rs 30 lakh and the installation of the statue and pedestal construction work of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Late Chaudhary Charan Singh ji in Sheopur at a cost of Rs 9 lakh.
