Bank of Baroda UPI Facility: There is good news for those having an account with Bank of Baroda. If you also have an account in this government bank, then the bank has given great news to the customers on Monday.
Public sector Bank of Baroda (BOB) has said that keeping in view the convenience of the customers, it has started Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) facility, in which a customer can withdraw cash from the bank’s ATM using UPI.
BoB released statement
BOB said in a statement that it is the first public sector bank to provide cash withdrawal facility from ATMs through UPI. The bank said that by taking advantage of its ICCW facility, customers of other participating banks using BHIM UPI (UPI) and other UPI applications along with their customers will also be able to withdraw cash from ATMs.
Will be able to withdraw cash from ATM
Customers will not need to use debit card to withdraw cash from Bank of Baroda’s ATM. To avail this service, the customer has to select the option of ‘UPI Cash Withdrawal’ at the Bank of Baroda ATM. Then after entering the amount to be withdrawn, a QR code will be displayed on the screen of the ATM.
Let us tell you that this code has to be scanned using the authorized UPI app for ICCW and authorized for the transaction. The bank’s chief digital officer Akhil Handa said the introduction of the ICCW service would give customers the freedom to withdraw cash without using a card.
Withdrawal of Rs.5,000 can be done
at BOB ATMs. Customers can do two transactions in a day and a maximum of Rs.5,000 can be withdrawn at a time.
