Bihar Police SI Recruitment: BPSSC rejected applications of more than 13 thousand candidates due to 3 reasons

BPSSC Bihar Police SI Bharti 2023: The applications of 13520 candidates who applied for Bihar Police Sub Inspector recruitment have been rejected. Bihar Police Undergraduate Service Commission (BPSSC) gave this information on Wednesday.

The Commission said that among the candidates whose forms for SI recruitment have been rejected, there were 5616 candidates who had registered but did not submit the application form. There were 7608 candidates who themselves canceled their application forms.

Apart from this, 296 candidates have either filed multiple applications or made a mistake in uploading the photo and signature. Some did not even upload photo and signature. The Commission has released the list of registration numbers and names of all these 13520 candidates. It is also explained why the application has been rejected.

Bihar Police Undergraduate Service Commission (BPSSC) will conduct the examination for the recruitment of Sub Inspector for 1275 posts in Bihar Police in two shifts on 17 December 2023. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Candidates will have to report one and a half hours before the commencement of the exam. The gates will be closed half an hour before the start of the examination. There will be no entry after the gate is closed. Bihar Police SI Recruitment Exam Admit Card (BPSSC Bihar Police SI Admit Card) will be released on 1 December 2023. Candidates will be able to download them by visiting www.bpssc.bih.nic.in. No admit card will be sent by post.

Bring photo ID along with admit card in the exam.

To appear in the examination at the allotted examination center, along with the e-admit card, you will have to present a valid photo identity card such as Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card or Aadhar Card. If the photograph is not clear or not available on the e-admit card, then in such a situation the candidate will also bring 2 (two) photographs (taken within two months) identical to the application form with him to the examination venue.

Written Examination:-

– There will be a paper of 200 marks in the preliminary written examination in which the total number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be 2 hours. In this, questions related to general knowledge and contemporary issues will be asked. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent marks will be declared failed for the main examination.
– On the basis of marks obtained in the preliminary examination, successful candidates will be selected 20 (twenty) times the number of vacancies and reservation will be done category wise in order of merit.
