Employees Salary-Arrears: Thousands of teachers and employees have been given huge relief. In fact, after the announcement of the Chief Minister, the notification for increase in salary of teachers and employees has finally been issued.
Employees will get this benefit from the month of April. In such a situation, they will also be paid 5 months’ arrears. The salaries of SMC and computer teachers of Himachal Pradesh have been increased. Now the salary of 2555 SMC teachers working in government schools of the state will see an increase of ₹ 2000.
After the budget announcement by the Chief Minister, its notification has finally been issued by the Education Department. From April 1, 2023, teacher employees will get the benefit of increased salary.
Payment of 5 months arrear amount also
In such a situation, they also have to be paid the amount of arrears of 5 months from April to August. Earlier, computer teachers and SMC employees were angry due to non-increase in salaries. The teachers union said that during the budget, an increase of Rs 2000 in the salary of teachers was announced by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Even after 6 months, teachers have not yet been provided increased salary.

After the order is issued by the department, now the spokespersons appointed through SMC will be provided Rs 16978 as salary instead of Rs 14978, while DPE and TGT will be paid Rs 16978 instead of Rs 14978. C and V will be provided Rs 13609 instead of Rs 11609, while JBT teachers will be given the benefit of Rs 11362 instead of Rs 9362.
