1. Rules related to debit and credit cards
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has made important changes from today to crack down on the increasing cases of cyber fraud across the country. Actually, RBI is bringing Card-on-File Tokenization (CoF Card Tokenization) rules for credit card and debit card users from October 1.According to RBI, after the implementation of this rule, cardholders will get more facilities and security.
2. Changes in Atal Pension Yojana
There has been a big change in Atal Pension Yojana (APY), the most popular scheme of the Modi government. Taxpayers will not be able to join this scheme from October 1.Recently, this information has been given in a notification issued by the government. The latest amendment states that with effect from October 1, 2022, any citizen who is or has been an income tax payer will not be eligible to join the Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
3. Changes in Mutual Fund Rules For
those investing in mutual funds, important changes are going to happen from this month. After October 1, mutual fund investors will be required to provide nomination details. If the nomination details are not given, the investors will have to fill the declaration. In this, the matter of not taking the facility of nomination will have to be told.
4. Gas Cylinder Hua Cheaper
The prices of LPG cylinders are reviewed on the 1st of every month. In such a situation, due to the softening of crude oil and natural gas prices, this time the prices of commercial gas cylinders have been reduced. Commercial gas cylinders have become cheaper by up to Rs 36.
5. Platform Ticket Price Increased In order to
Decongest trains and provide more convenience during the festive season, Southern Railway has doubled the platform ticket price. From today, Rs 20 will have to be paid for platform tickets available for Rs 10.
6. E-enrollment required in NPS
PFRDA has recently changed the process of e-nomination for both government and private or corporate sector employees. The change will be effective from October 1, 2022.As per the new NPS e-nomination process, the Nodal Office will have the option to accept or reject the e-nomination request of the NPS account holder. If the Nodal Office does not initiate any action against the request within 30 days of its allotment, the e-nomination request will be accepted in the system of Central Record Keeping Agencies (CRAs).
