Delhi Metro ‘DMRC TRAVEL’ App: There is good news for the passengers traveling in Delhi Metro. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched a mobile app. The name of this app is ‘DMRC Travel’, with the help of which users will be able to travel in Metro through hassle-free mobile QR Tickets.
That is, till now users had to buy Token or recharge Metro card to travel in Metro. But now with the new update, passengers will be able to travel in the metro through mobile QR ticket. Let’s know how to buy Mobile QR Tickets of Delhi Metro.
The ‘DMRC Travel’ app was launched by DMRC’s Managing Director Dr. Launched by Vikas Kumar. Passengers will be able to use it at every metro station in Delhi. Through the app, users will be able to buy tickets from mobile and enter the metro. Its specialty is that now passengers will not have to stand in front of counters and vending machines. This will also save people’s time.

You get many Payment Methods on this app, such as UPI, Credit / Debit Cards and Wallets. With the help of this, the payment option available with the passengers, they will be able to pay from it. Apart from this, many features have been added to this app for passengers, such as travel planner, fare calculator, station information and smart card recharge. In this, you will also know about the destination and interchange stations of your route. At the same time, you can also check the transaction history, as well as rebook tickets to go back to where you came from.
Currently ‘DMRC TRAVEL’ App is available on Android platforms. Soon it will be made available on the iOS platform, so that every user can use this mobile QR ticket. Passengers can download this app from their app store, in which they can take advantage of many features and benefits.
How to buy ticket from DMRC Travel app (How to purchase Mobile QR ticket through “DMRC Travel” App)
Step 1: First of all go to the App Store, search for “DMRC Travel App” there and install it.
Step 2: Now open the app, create an account in it. Use Gmail and Facebook to use the account.
Step 3: Now login to the app and select the option “Book Ticket” in the menu.
Step-4: Now select your destination station and click on “Book Ticket”. In this, you will see the ticket price, number of stops and journey time.
Step 5: Now select and book the tickets you want.
Step 6: Confirm the purchase by checking the destination, pick up location, number of ticket and amount.
Step 7: Now pay with any payment method, in which you will see the option of debit / credit card, net banking and UPI.
After following all these processes, Mobile QR ticket will be generated in the App. Now show this ticket at AFC i.e. Automatic Fare Collection gate while entering and exiting.
