The Vande Bharat Express (Bhagalpur Howrah Vande Bharat Stoppage) running between Bhagalpur-Howrah will now stop at Mandar Hill and Barahat stations as well. On Thursday, the Railway Board also released the train numbers.
The train number running from Howrah will be 22309 and the train number running from Bhagalpur will be 22310. The time table has also been released by Sanjay R Neelam, Coaching Director of Railway Board.
The train will depart from Howrah at 7:45 am and reach Bhagalpur at 2:05 pm, while it will depart from Bhagalpur at 3:20 pm on the same day and reach Howrah at 9:20 pm. This train will run on all days of the week except Friday. According to the new timetable, after departing from Bhagalpur, Vande Bharat will reach Bolpur via Barahat, Mandar Hill, Hansdiha, Nonihat, Dumka, Rampurhat, Bolpur Shanti Niketan.
It will stop for two minutes at each station. Discussions are also going on to run this train till Jamalpur. According to railway sources, its feasibility test is going on for its operation from Jamalpur.
According to the design of Vande Bharat’s coach, its rack will be divided into two basic units. Each of these will have four coaches. All the functions of both the basic units will be different. The monitoring system will also be different. This train will reach a speed of 100 kmph within 50 seconds of starting. Its maximum speed will be 160 kmph. Apart from this, this train will be engineless.

There will also be a mini pantry facility. Which will have hot case, bottle cooler, deep freezer and hot water boiler. With the help of which the passengers traveling will get fresh and hygienic breakfast and food.
Four kilometer track will have to be kept empty
According to railway officials, after Vande Bharat starts running, the track will have to be kept completely empty for four kilometers. An official associated with the technical team said that all station masters have already been informed about this. After the train starts running, if any train is coming from the front, it will have to be immediately taken to the loop line. Apart from this, RPF has also been instructed to remain alert regarding the safety of the track.
Operation and management will be done through control and management system
Vande Bharat Express running from Bhagalpur to Hawada will run on Coach Control and Management System. A railway official said that CCMS is a digital system designed to automate the operation and management of railway coaches. With its help, allocation of coaches, information on availability of coaches, maintenance and repair, control of operations, passenger amenities will be improved. Apart from this, information about coach database will also be available from CCMS. The purpose of CCMS is to make the operation and management of railway coaches more efficient and effective.
