If a batsman retires in the middle of the innings due to any reason other than injury, he will not be given a chance to bat again. BCCI has also added a thing in the rule of applying saliva on the ball. Earlier, if any team used to apply saliva on the ball, then it used to be fined. Now, not only will it be fined, but the ball will also be changed immediately. Let us tell you that these rules are only for BCCI matches. In the rest of the world, the same rules will be followed which have been decided by ICC.
