New Delhi. The world is full of wonders. In this episode, the world’s first dog flight service has been started in America. BARK Air, the world’s first jet charter company, has officially started the service of luxury air travel for dogs and their owners. Everything in this service has been designed in such a way that dogs can travel comfortably.
Launched by dog toy company BARK in partnership with Jet Charter Services, BARK Air aims to revolutionise flying for dogs and ensure they travel in comfort and style. The airlines take complete details of the dogs before boarding the flight. Specially trained crew will be deployed to serve the dogs on the flight.
Bark Air service from New York to Los Angeles begins
In an Instagram post, Bark Air shared details of the airline’s first flight from New York to Los Angeles on Thursday (May 23). “There’s a flight full of dogs at 30,000 feet right now,” the airline captioned the post.

The fare ranges from 5 to 6.5 lakh rupees.
The cost of a one-way domestic flight for the dog and its owner is $6,000 (Rs 5 lakh) and for an international flight it is $8,000 (Rs 6.5 lakh). To catch the flight, the dogs and their owners have to reach the airport 45 minutes in advance.
Currently, the flight service is only in the US and UK.
Tickets for the initial flight from New York to Los Angeles were sold out quickly and the subsequent flights for June are also filling up fast. The company is currently providing flight service only in the US and UK. These flights will be available between New York, California and London.
