Veer Surendra Sai Jayanti

Veer Surendra Sai’s birth anniversary is celebrated on 23 January. He was a great freedom fighter and tribal hero of Odisha who fought a long battle against the British. Surendra Sai, who fought for the rights of the poor and tribal community, spent most of his life in jail. His sacrifice and struggle is a glorious chapter of the freedom struggle.
