The strike has been called by the Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) in connection with their demands. Bank of Baroda has issued a statement saying that they have received a notice from AIBEA. Its members have decided to go on bank strike on 19th November.

27 November 2022: Due to Sunday being this day, banks will have a holiday.

23 November 2022: On this day banks will remain open in all circles except Shillong due to Seng Kutsnem. During this, banks will remain closed only in Shillong.
