There is big news for the customers having bank account. If you also have an account in the public sector Bank of Maharashtra, then a special facility has been started for you by the bank.
The bank has announced the launch of several new products and services for the customers on Friday. These include digitized personal loans and updated mobile banking.
Customers will get better experience
In a statement, BoM said, “In order to ease the customer experience and strengthen the digitization of the bank, the bank has started offering personal loan service to customers digitally in many areas. These regions include Pune region (Pune West, Pune City and Pune East), Bengaluru, Kolkata, Patna and Chandigarh.
According to the statement issued by the bank
, the existing customers can take a loan of up to Rs 20 lakh through digital medium without any hassle. The bank has also introduced new features for its Visa and RuPay Debit cards. Visa International Debit Card is a new generation contactless card that will work across devices in India and abroad. No additional fee will be charged for availing this facility.
Recently, the bank had increased the MCLR
Bank of Maharashtra has increased the Marginal Cost of Lending Rates ie MCLR by up to 30 basis points. Due to the increase in MCLR, the EMI of Home Loan, Car Loan had increased. Its burden will be on the current borrowers (MCLR impact on borrowers) as well as on new borrowers. As per the information shared to the exchange, Bank of Maharashtra had increased the MCLR.
