India’s largest private sector bank HDFC has issued an alert for its customers. In fact, many services of HDFC Bank will not be available to customers for two days.
According to the bank, banking services will be temporarily closed on January 24 and 25 due to maintenance. This move will help provide a better banking experience to customers. Even before this, HDFC Bank had closed some services on January 17 and 18 due to maintenance.
HDFC Bank has announced that ChatBanking, SMS Banking and PhoneBanking IVR services will be under maintenance from 10:00 PM on January 24 to 2:00 PM on January 25 (total 16 hours). During this period, all these services will not be available to customers. UPI service will not be available on January 25. UPI service will be maintained on Friday. Services will be affected from 12:00 AM on January 25 to 3:00 AM (3 hours).
During this period, UPI transactions on HDFC Bank current and savings accounts, RuPay credit cards, HDFC mobile banking app and UPI services on TPAPs (Third Party Apps) will remain closed. Merchant UPI transactions will also be affected.
The bank has alerted its customers: HDFC Bank has sent this update to the customers through their registered email addresses. The bank has requested its customers to use other options during these dates and times. HDFC Bank says that this necessary maintenance is being done to further improve their service. However, customers are advised to make their financial plans keeping these dates in mind. Earlier on January 17 also, some customers did not get banking services. Then, customers faced problems in reloading Forex card through Forex prepaid card service, prepaid card netbanking and instant reload portal.
