Bank locker New rules: Some rules related to rent, security and nomination of bank locker facilities have been changed. This rule is going to be implemented in the country’s top banks like SBI, ICICI, HDFC and PNB. Let us understand the details of charges among all these banks and how much more money will have to be paid now.
keep this in mind
Banks offer bank locker facilities to different categories of customers such as individual customers, partnership firms, limited companies, clubs, etc. However, banks do not allot lockers in the name of minors. Banks act as a kind of lessor to their customers, providing locker services on an annual rent basis.
From the security point of view, banks assure that the protection of the valuables of the customers is much safer than their fees. Please note that if you keep cash in the bank, it is not their responsibility to keep it safe. So keep this in mind while keeping the goods.
