Bank Holiday in January 2024: Now only a few days are left for the end of the last month of the year, after which the new year will begin. Before the beginning of the new year, the Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays.
Bank is an essential part of everyone’s life, one has to go to the bank for money transactions, checks and many other works. Bank Will remain closed for 16 days
In the first month of the new year, there will be work in the bank only for half the month. Banks will remain closed for a total of 16 days in January including festivals, birth anniversary and Saturday-Sunday. In this, some holidays will be valid only for some states.

- January 15, 2024- There will be a bank holiday in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh due to Pongal.
- January 16, 2024- Banks will remain closed in West Bengal and Assam due to Tusu Puja.
- January 17, 2024- There will be a holiday in banks in many states due to Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti.
- January 20, 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
- January 23, 2024- Banks will remain closed in many states due to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti.
- January 25, 2024- There will be a holiday in the state due to Himachal Pradesh State Day.
- January 26, 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Republic Day.
- January 27, 2024- Fourth Saturday, banks will remain closed across the country.
- January 28, 2024- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.
- January 31, 2024- There will be a holiday in Assam due to Me-Dam-Me-Fee.

Due to bank closure, you may have to wait for important work, in such a situation you can complete your important work through mobile or net banking. You can use ATM to withdraw cash.
