In the next month, December 2022, there will be 13 days holiday in banks (Bank Hiliday List December 2022). Therefore, if you are planning to go to the bank next month to settle some important work, then first check the list of holidays.
Lest it happen that the day you go to the bank it is closed and you have to return empty-handed. There are four Sundays in the month of December, on this day there will be a weekly holiday in the bank, while the banks will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays as well. Apart from this, due to some festivals and special days, there will be no work in banks.
The Reserve Bank of India decides on which day the banks will have a holiday. The Reserve Bank prepares a holiday list for every calendar year.
