Let us tell you that according to the Reserve Bank of India, banks will open only for 16 days in August. Therefore, plan only after seeing the list of holidays related to your bank. However, nowadays most of the bank’s work is done online only. But then there are more than half a dozen works which cannot be completed without going to the bank. Let us know in which state when will be the bank holiday.

- 6 August 2023 – Sunday will be a weekly holiday
- 8 August 2023 – Banks will remain closed due to Tendong Lho Rum Phat in Gangtok. Holiday only in Gangtok
- 12 August 2023 – Banks will be closed all over the country due to second Saturday
13 August 2023 – Sunday’s weekly holiday - 15 August 2023 – Bank holiday across the country due to Independence Day
- 16 August 2023 – Parsi New Year Due to this, banks will remain closed in Mumbai, Nagpur and Belapur
- 18 August 2023 – Banks will remain closed in Guwahati due to Shrimant Sankardev Tithi
20 August 2023 – Sunday’s weekly holiday - 26 August 2023 – Due to the fourth Saturday, banks will remain closed throughout the country
- 27 August 2023 – Weekly Holiday on Sunday
- 28 August 2023 – Banks will remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram due to first Onam
- 29 August 2023 – Banks will remain closed in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram due to Tiru Onam
- 30 August 2023 – Banks will remain closed in Jaipur and Shimla due to Raksha Bandhan
- 31 August 2023 – Defense Banks will remain closed in Dehradun, Gangtok, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram due to Bandhan/Sri Narayana Guru Jayanti/Pang-Lahab Sol
