Bank Holiday: The month of December is coming. Banks in the country will remain closed for 17 days in the month of December. 17 days of holidays in December including weekend holidays.
Next month there will be 5 Sundays, so bank employees will get 7 days weekly holiday instead of 6 days. Other banks will be closed in the month of December due to Christmas festival and local holidays. These 17-day holidays are not going to happen simultaneously in all the states. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, banks will be closed for a total of 17 days this month. These include Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays and festive holidays. There are 5 Sundays in December. Due to this, banks will be closed for 7 days due to the weekly holiday. Although bank branches will remain closed during these days, customers can use digital services like internet banking, mobile apps and ATMs.
