The first banking holiday will be on May 1 only. Bank holidays will be observed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna and Trivandrum on May 1 on the occasion of Maharashtra Day and Labor Day.
After this the next holiday will be on 5th May. Banks in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar will not be closed on May 5 on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. . After this, on the occasion of Sunday, May 7, banks will remain closed in the whole country.

After this, on May 9, on the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary, the banks of Kolkata zone will remain closed. Banks will remain closed across the country due to the second Saturday on 13th May. After this, banks will remain closed in the entire country on Sunday, May 14.
