Actually, there are still many works which require going to the bank to get done. So if you are also going to the bank or planning to go in the next month of November, then first know on which days the banks are going to be closed in your city in the month of November. For this, the Reserve Bank of India has released a list of holidays. So let’s know how many days the banks are going to be closed in November.

Banks will remain closed for these many days:-

1st to 3rd November

  • Banks will remain closed in Agartala on November 1 due to Diwali and Kannada Rajyotsava
  • November 2 is the first Saturday of the month due to which banks across the country will remain closed and November 3 is Sunday due to which banks across the country will remain closed
7, 8 and 10 November
  • Banks will remain closed in Patna and Ranchi due to Chhath Puja (evening prayer) on November 7 and Chhath Puja (morning prayer) on November 8
  • Banks will remain closed in Shillong on November 8 on account of Wangala Festival
  • Banks will remain closed on 10 November as it is a Sunday
12th and 15th November
  • Banks will remain closed in Dehradun on November 12 due to Igas-Baghwal
  • Banks in Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Telangana, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar will remain closed on November 15 due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartik Purnima/Rahas Purnima
17, 18, 23 and 24 November
  • On November 17, banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday and on November 18, banks will remain closed in Bengaluru due to Kanakadasa Jayanti
  • Banks in Shillong will remain closed on November 23 due to Seng Kutsnem, and all banks in the country will remain closed on November 23 due to the fourth Saturday of the month
  • 24th November is Sunday, due to which banks across the country will remain closed.
