Bank Holiday in August 2023: The Reserve Bank uploads the month-wise banking holiday list on its website and the list of bank holidays falling in August 2023 has also been released. According to this, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days including the weekly holidays of Saturday and Sunday.

The month of July is about to end and after four days the new month August 2023 will start. From August 1, changes can be seen across the country from banking to LPG rates. In fact, there will be no work in bank branches for a total of 4 days in the month of August, nor will the 2000 rupee notes taken out of circulation be exchanged. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Bank Holiday list, according to which banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days.

Reserve Bank uploads month-wise banking holiday list on its website and the list of bank holidays falling in August 2023 has also been released. Apart from the festivals and events to be held in different states and cities, the holidays for the next month also include holidays for Sundays and second and fourth Saturdays. Saturday and Sunday are weekly holidays on 6th, 12th, 13th, 20th, 26th and 27th of the month. In such a situation, it is necessary that before going to the bank, you leave the house only after checking the Bank Holiday list on the official website of RBI, lest you reach the bank and find the lock hanging there.
