Banks will remain closed from 15 to 18 June due to this reason

According to the Reserve Bank of India, on June 15, banks in Aizawl and Bhubaneswar will remain closed due to YMA Day and Raja Sankranti.

At the same time, banks will remain closed across the country on June 16 due to Sunday. On June 17, 2024, banks will remain closed in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Nagpur, Panaji, Raipur, Patna, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar and Trivandrum. On June 18, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain closed due to Bakrid.

Even if the banks are closed for several consecutive days, facilities like net banking, mobile banking will remain operational. You can use net banking, mobile banking or UPI to transfer money from one account to another. Apart from this, 24/7 ATM facility will remain operational. Due to this, you will not have to face problems in cash withdrawal.

The stock market will also remain closed for three consecutive days

Apart from banks, the stock market is also going to remain closed for three consecutive days. There will be a holiday on 15 and 16 June 2024 due to Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, there will be no trading in NSE and BSE due to Bakrid. There will be no trading in equity sector, derivative segment and SLB segment on this day.
