HDFC Bank UPI: If you are also a customer of the country’s largest private bank HDFC Bank, then this news is for you. On Saturday, February 8, the bank’s UPI, Rupay credit card, mobile banking and TPAP will not work for three hours. The bank has announced downtime for system maintenance during this period.
According to the information given by the bank, UPI transactions, Rupay credit cards, HDFC mobile banking app and TPAP will not work from 12:00AM to 03:00AM IST on 8 February 2025. In view of this, customers are advised to complete the necessary transactions in advance.
What is the downtime schedule?
From 12:00 AM to 03:00 AM IST (3 hours) on 8 February 2025. UPI, Rupay Credit Card, HDFC Mobile Banking App and TPAP will not work during this period. Apart from this, merchant UPI transactions through HDFC Bank will also not take place.
How to register for UPI through mobile banking app?
To avail any UPI service, customers must first register for the service. You can register for UPI by following some simple steps given below on HDFC Bank website.
Step 1: Download the HDFC Mobile Banking App.
Step 2: Login using your Customer ID and Password.
Step 3: Click on Menu/Pay/UPI Payments from your registered mobile number.
Step 4: Then enter your UPI ID
. Step 5: Add your bank account to start UPI payments.
