Now interim government advisor Mohammad Yunus has announced that there will be no holiday on the National Mourning Day in memory of Mujib. He said that this decision has been taken after consultation with all political parties. Earlier, during the violent protests, the statue of Sheikh Mujib was broken and the room where he was martyred was also set on fire. That room was currently converted into a museum. Let us tell you that former PM Sheikh Hasina has opposed erasing the memories of Sheikh Mujib. Sheikh Hasina, who left the post of PM and came to India, gave a public statement for the first time on Tuesday.

He said that in the name of protests, there was a riot in Bangladesh and Banga Bandhu’s monuments were targeted selectively. Now the cancellation of the holiday in his name may further increase the discontent among Awami League supporters. Even though the government has decided to cancel the holiday, Awami League leaders are going to organize programs on this occasion. At the same time, the government has also started tightening the noose on Awami League leaders. Most of them are those who have been close to Sheikh Hasina.

Two close aides of Sheikh Hasina arrested, police caught them while they were running away

Salman F. Rahman, who was an advisor to Sheikh Hasina, has been arrested. Apart from this, former law minister Anisul Haque has also been arrested by the police. These people were caught by the police when they were trying to escape through the waterways. A case of murder of two people has been filed against both of them. Two people were killed in the violence near Dhaka College in the New Market area of ​​Dhaka. The police had registered a case in this matter and under this, these two leaders have also been arrested.
