For example, take the Ayushman Bharat scheme. This scheme is run by the Government of India, the benefits of which are given only to eligible people. Under this scheme, you can avail free treatment, but do you know who are those people who cannot get the benefit of this scheme? Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, Ayushman cards are made and then the benefit of free treatment is given. This scheme is run by the central government and hence this scheme was started so that people who are financially weak or those who are living below the poverty line can be given the benefit of free treatment.
The beneficiaries of the scheme get these benefits
If you are eligible for Ayushman Bharat Yojana, then you can get Ayushman card made. After this, you can get free treatment in those hospitals which are registered in this scheme. For this, beneficiaries are given a limit of Rs 5 lakh every year, that is, you can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year.
Ayushman card cannot be made for these people.

- If your PF is deducted then you are not considered eligible for this scheme
- Even if you are already a beneficiary of ESIC, you cannot get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana
- People who work in the organised sector or those who pay taxes are also considered ineligible.
- If you are financially well off or you are a government employee, then such people also cannot get Ayushman card and they are considered ineligible to avail the benefit of free treatment.
