Ayushman Bharat Yojana: Portal ready for the senior citizen, registration will start soon

Ayushman Bharat Yojana: Elderly people above 70 years of age have also been included in the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Cards will soon be made for them. A portal has been prepared for this.

Elderly people above 70 years of age have also been included in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Cards will soon be made for them. The portal has been prepared for this and testing is about to begin. After this, registration will be started soon through Aadhaar. Union Health Secretary Apurva Chandra gave this information. Ayushman Bharat Yojana has completed six years. Under this, cards have been issued to 35.36 crore people so far. The maximum number of 49 cards have been issued to women.

At present, an additional top-up of Rs 5 lakh has been given to people above 70 years of age. Therefore, for families which are already covered, the coverage amount has become Rs 10 lakh. Many states have also increased the coverage amount.

Treatment of these diseases

The scheme provides 949 types of treatments, including 27 speciality treatments. Most of the cases covered are cancer, kidney disease, heart disease.

12 crore families included

12.37 crore families have been included in the scheme. So far 7.79 crore people have been admitted to the hospital, of which 3.61 crore were women. Out of these, 49 cards have been issued to women.

How to apply for PMJAY

Visit the PMJAY website, click on the AM I ELIGIBLE tab. Verify your mobile number by entering OTP. Select the state and scheme. If you get the details of your family and eligibility then follow the steps given below…

step 1: https://ayushmanup.in/ tab will open. Click on ‘Register yourself on SETU here’

Step 2: The link will take the user to the NHA’aSetu portal

Step 3: Click on the register yourself button here.

Step- 4: Now fill the mandatory tabs and then click on submit.

Step-5: After successful registration, now complete your KYC and wait for approval. Once the card is ready/approved by the competent authority, the beneficiary can download the card
