There has been a substantial increase in the number of Indians traveling abroad in the last few years, which has increased the demand for passport related services. The Passport Seva Project (PSP) was launched in May 2010 in response to the growing demand. This was an initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

Passport application and issuance processes as well as other related services have been simplified by Passport Seva. Online passport applications require paperwork and physical verification to be completed by the state police.

Additionally, the passport is delivered directly to the applicant’s registered address. If you have made up your mind to apply for a passport and are also traveling abroad, then visit the Passport Seva website. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to submit your passport application.
