Airtel: Telecom company Airtel has started its 5G service in 125 cities on Monday. According to the company, after joining 125 cities, now Jio service is available in 265 cities of the country. Now Airtel customers in 265 cities can avail 5G service.
Soon more 5G service will be expanded
The company said it aims to cover all towns and major rural areas with 5G rollout by March 2024. Randeep Sekhon, CTO of Bharti Airtel said that 5G has revolutionized the internet world. It has given connectivity, which has ushered in a new era of connectivity and communication, which will prove to be a game changer for the country. He said that today Airtel’s 5G service has been started in 125 cities.
Now service is available in these cities
Airtel will soon further expand 5G Plus service to other cities. So, soon Airtel’s 5G service will start getting in other towns and villages of the country. According to Airtel, now the company is providing its 5G services in every major city from Jammu city to the southern tip of Kanyakumari.
The list of 125 cities includes Nellore, Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh); Jorhat, Tezpur (Assam); Motihari, Gaya (Bihar), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh); Dahej, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar (Gujarat), Jhansi, Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Rae Bareli (Uttar Pradesh); Manali, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) etc. are included.
