Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the ‘Fast Track Immigration Trusted Traveler Program’ (FTI-TTP) at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport) in the capital Delhi. This will revolutionize the air travel experience by making travel faster, easier and more secure. Amit Shah will inaugurate it soon after arriving from Gujarat.

FTI-TTP is a visionary initiative designed by the Central Government for Indian citizens and Overseas Indian (OCI) cardholders. It aims to revolutionize your travel experience and make it faster, easier and more secure. This initiative reflects the Government’s commitment to enhance travel convenience and efficiency for all.

Biometrics details will be necessary

Eligible persons are required to apply online and submit their biometrics details (fingerprints and photo) along with other required information asked in the application form. Registration under FTI will be completed after necessary verification and confirmation of eligibility. Applicable FTI-TTP processing fees have to be paid at the time of submission of application.

The application will be submitted only when the non-refundable processing fee is paid successfully. Applicants will be registered after their identity is successfully authenticated through mobile OTP and email verification.

FTI registration will be valid for a maximum of five years

Wrong or false information in the application form or suppression of any material fact will result in the rejection of the application. Applicants whose biometrics cannot be captured due to any technical reason will not be registered for FTI-TTP. FTI registration will be valid for a maximum of five years or till the validity of the passport, whichever is earlier.

After the application is approved, the applicant will receive a message to schedule an appointment to provide their biometric details. The applicant will then be able to provide their biometric details at any designated international airport in India or the nearest FRRO office as per the pre-scheduled appointment.

Biometrics details are mandatory to complete the application process. The applicant must have a passport valid for at least six months at the time of applying for FTI-TTP. Membership of this program will expire with the passport validity. The applicant must provide the current residential address to avoid application rejection.

How much fee will have to be paid

FTI-TTP processing fees (non-refundable) are as follows: Rs.2000 for Indian nationals, Rs.1000 for Indian nationals (minors) and $100 for Non-Resident Indians (OCI cardholders).

Applicants need to upload one passport size photo in JPEG format (size 10 KB to 1 MB) and first and last page of passport containing passport holder information (size not more than 1 MB).

In addition, two scanned copies of documents like OCI card in case of overseas Indians are required in PDF format (size 10 KB to 1 MB) if applicable. Current proof of address in PDF format (size 10 KB to 1 MB) is also required.
