Air India Flight: Tata Group company Air India has said that Mumbai-Melbourne and Kochi-London Gatwick services will be discontinued due to temporary operational fleet reduction amid a renewal program for old Boeing 787 aircraft. The company further said that from March 30, it will operate more flights on routes connecting Britain, Europe, Far East Asia and Africa.

According to a press release issued by Tata, the company’s first Boeing 787 aircraft will be fitted with new seats and entertainment systems in April and the aircraft is expected to join the fleet again in October this year. At the same time, the renovation work of old Boeing 777 aircraft has been delayed and will begin in early 2026.
