Air India will start 400 new flights on these 4 routes by March 2024

Air India Flights Expansions: Air India has set a target of starting 400 new weekly flights on domestic and international routes in the next six months. Besides, four new international destinations will also be added. Know the complete plan of Air India.

The country’s largest airline Air India will start 400 new weekly flights in the next six months. This will include both domestic and international routes. This is part of the winter schedule 2023 of Tata Group-owned company Air India, under which a target has been set to expand its flights by March 2024. According to the company, there are also plans to expand international services in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

According to the company, the company will get delivery of the new aircraft in the next six months. Air India will strengthen its domestic network by adding 200 new weekly flights. This will include routes from many big cities like Mumbai and Delhi. Whereas, if we talk about international network, Air India will start 200 weekly flights. Out of these, 80 weekly flights are already running. Air India will include four new destinations in its network, which will be announced in the coming time.

Starting from winter schedule 2023, the airline has increased the frequency of weekly flights (both ways) by 25 times on eight international routes in Southeast Asia, the USA and Europe. This includes increasing the weekly frequency of Mumbai-Singapore from 7x to 13x, Delhi-Bangkok from 7x to 14x, Delhi-Dhaka from 7x to 12x, Delhi-Newark (New Jersey) from 3x to 4x, Delhi-San Francisco from 10x. involves scaling up by 11x.

Delhi-Washington D.C. 3x to 4x, Delhi-Copenhagen from 3x to 4x, Delhi-Milan from 4x to 5x, Mumbai-Doha from 7x to 9x. Air India has also started flights on four new routes Bengaluru-Singapore, Kochi-Doha, Kolkata-Bangkok and Mumbai-Melbourne. Between now and March 2024, Air India is expected to add more than 30 widebody and narrowbody aircraft to its fleet. These include six A350s, four B777s and 20 A320neos.
