Air India Wi-Fi: On the occasion of New Year, Air India has given a big gift to the passengers. The Tata Group airline company has announced the launch of Wi-Fi service in flights. Under this facility, you can currently avail Wi-Fi service on some selected routes. Air India said that passengers can avail Wi-Fi internet connectivity service on Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9 and selected Airbus A321 Neo aircraft on domestic routes.
Air India said that Air India has become the first airline in the country to provide in-flight Wi-Fi service. This will allow passengers to always stay connected to the internet during their vacation or business trip and they can browse, access social media, get information about work or send messages to friends and family.
Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India, said that connectivity has now become an integral part of modern travel. For some, it is about the convenience and comfort of sharing information in real time, while for others it is about greater productivity and efficiency. He added that whatever one’s purpose, we are confident that our guests will appreciate the option to connect to the web and enjoy the new Air India experience on these aircraft.
Enjoy multiple devices at the same time
Air India said that passengers can use Wi-Fi with laptops, tablets and smartphones etc. Through in-flight Wi-Fi, customers can enjoy multiple devices at the same time at an altitude of more than 10,000 feet. This service is already being provided on Air India’s international routes. Now it has been started on domestic routes. Currently, Air India is providing Wi-Fi service free of cost. The company said that over time, Air India will start this service on other aircraft in its fleet as well.
