If you are planning to travel by Air India Express, then read the new baggage policy carefully. The airline has given a big relief to its passengers by increasing the limit of check-in baggage. Earlier passengers were allowed to carry up to 20 kg of check-in baggage, but now this limit has been increased to 30 kg.
The airline made these important changes
- Passengers will now be able to carry check-in baggage up to 30 kg.
- Passengers travelling with children will be allowed an additional 10 kg of check-in baggage.
- The limit for cabin baggage has been fixed at 7 kg, with a maximum size of 40 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm so that it can easily fit under the seat.

On which routes will the new rules be applicable?
This new rule has not been implemented on all routes.
- Passengers on flights to the Middle East and Singapore will benefit from this change.
- For other routes, the old rules will remain applicable, in which 20 kg check-in baggage and 7 kg cabin baggage will be allowed.
This decision of Air India Express will provide great relief to passengers traveling internationally, especially those who want to carry extra luggage.
