Aadhar Card Update: It is mandatory for all citizens of India to have an Aadhar card. It is used as a necessary document to do any work in the country. Aadhar card was introduced in 2009 as an identity card for citizens.
Which needs to be updated after some time, people whose card is 10 years old are being advised to update it. For which UIDAI is working across the country. In this context, UIDAI is working with the Jammu and Kashmir administration to run a campaign in all districts.
Meeting regarding Aadhaar card
A meeting was held regarding Aadhaar card update, in which every aspect of making and updating Aadhaar card was discussed. It was informed that Aadhaar centers have been set up in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir with the help of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Regarding the new Aadhaar cards, it was said that the Aadhaar card of newborn children will be made in the hospital itself from the verified birth certificate.
A campaign is being run in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir to update Aadhaar. Where people are being informed about updating demographic details, biometrics, mobile number and other documents. In fact, after every 10 years, citizens have to update details like name, age, biometric and other information in their Aadhaar card. In such a situation, the cards of those whose Aadhaar is not updated on time can be cancelled. Let us tell you that UIDAI has set up more than 1000 Aadhaar centers.
Aadhaar update is being done in two ways
People are being urged to update Aadhaar both offline and online. Those who want to update online can do so by visiting uidai.gov.in. Along with this, those who want to update Aadhaar offline can visit the nearest Aadhaar centers and get Aadhaar updated.
