These documents will be needed

UIDAI has revealed which documents will be required for Aadhaar update. UADAI has reduced the number of documents required to change things like name and date of birth. You can change the date of birth in Aadhaar card with just six documents. Date of birth can be changed only through passport, government employee record, pension record, educational certificate, transgender certificate, birth certificate.

How many times can you make corrections

If there is any mistake in the spelling of your name or you want to change your surname after marriage, then you can get it changed. In this case, you can get the name changed only 2 times in the Aadhaar card. You can do this either online or offline. Many times it happens that while making Aadhaar card, the gender is wrongly entered.

So you can get it changed only once. If the date of birth is wrongly entered, you can get it changed only once. Some information like home address, email ID, mobile number, photo, finger print and retina scan can be changed repeatedly on the Aadhaar card.
