Aadhaar Holders Update: We are telling you about another important work, whose deadline was about to end tomorrow. Yes, the facility to update Aadhaar for free was ending yesterday i.e. on 14th December, but UIDAI has extended it for three months, giving relief to Aadhaar users.
New deadline to update Aadhaar for free
Aadhaar card holders got a big relief, Unique Identification Authority of India has once again extended the deadline for updating Aadhaar for free. Now this work can be done free of cost till 14 March 2024 next year. UIDAI had set the last date for free Aadhaar update as December 14, 2023, which was to end on Thursday, but at the last moment the authority has taken a big decision.

The government has told all Aadhaar card users that they should update their 10 year old Aadhaar card. However, it has not been kept in the category of essential work. UIDAI has also said that you can update your information by visiting Myaadhaar portal. For this you will have to upload documents related to the information.
Apart from this, you can also get this work done offline. However, if a user updates Aadhaar offline by going to Aadhaar center instead of online, then he has to pay a fee of Rs 25.
