According to the Unique Identification Authority of India, if you want to modify the name in your Aadhaar card, then now users will need Gazette Notification.
Whether you want to change the full name in the Aadhaar card or change a few letters of the name, meaning you want to make some minor corrections, in both conditions you will need a gadget notification. Along with the gadget notification, customers will also have to submit another ID proof. The second ID proof must have the full name of the Aadhaar holder. For this, you can use PAN card, voter ID, driving license, service ID card and passport.
