Although, the reason for this is not clear, but it is believed that due to problems related to track repairing and operations, these trains have been canceled and the route of some trains has been changed. It would be better that you check the status of your vehicle once before leaving for the journey.
According to the information available on the National Train Inquiry System (NTES), Railways has completely canceled 140 trains today. At the same time, 23 trains have been partially cancelled, that is, the operation of these trains will remain canceled between some stations. Apart from this, 16 trains have been rescheduled. These trains include passenger, mail express and special trains.

Railway has canceled Pathankot-Jwalamukhi Express, Shamli Delhi Special, Virangana Laxmibai-Lucknow Express, Bina-Damoh Express, Azimganj-Nalhati Special and Vardhaman-Asansol Express. While Kanpur-Central-Veerangana Laxmibai Special, Varanasi-Patna Special, Hisar-Rewari Special, Sirsa-Ludhiana Special and Kathgodam-Moradabad Express will remain canceled between some stations.

Indian Railways has changed the UTS (Unreserved Ticket System). Passengers will now be able to book unreserved tickets up to 20 km from the UTS ON MOBILE App. Earlier, passengers could book general tickets only up to 5 km from the UTS on mobile app.
