There was a demand of some people that if someone falls asleep while traveling in the country’s semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express, then he becomes very upset. Due to which he feels tired in the journey. Because this train has only chair car coaches, not sleepers. Till now the public has to travel by sitting in this train. But now you will soon be able to enjoy the journey even after sleeping.

Sleeper coaches will be installed

According to Railway Board sources, the Ministry of Railways is going to arrange sleeper coaches for this train. For this, orders are going to be issued to prepare the sleeper rack of the train. When these rakes will come, then they will be added to the train. After which you will be able to travel by lying in it and sleeping comfortably.

Let us tell you that till now orders

for 300 new rakes have been placed for Vande Bharat Train or Train-18, on which work is going on fast. It is being told that 200 racks of chair cars and 100 racks of sleeper coaches are being made in this. There are 16 coaches in this train. There is no separate engine to be installed in this train, as this rack is self propelled.

It will cost so much, it will be the speed

to know that the Vande Bharat train runs on the railway track at a maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour. The Ministry of Railways has allowed it to run at a maximum speed of 160 kmph. According to railway sources, the cost of each train or rake of the new type of Vande Bharat can be around Rs 113 crore.

According to sources, the month of November is going to be very special for the construction of new train of Vande Bharat . In this, the contract of 200 Vande Bharat chair car rakes will be awarded on 15 November. Also, there can be two contract awards for 100 rakes of sleeper variant. In this, one contract will be on 22 and the other on 29 November.

These companies will get orders

According to railway sources, the manufacturing order of Vande Bharat train sets can be divided among a total of 7 manufacturers. The companies which are included in these are pre-qualified manufacturers. Its names are Alstom, Siemens, Titagarh Wagons, Crompton and Greaves, Medha Servo Drives and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). Out of these, BHEL is the only company which is government.

Let us tell you that this is the first time that the entire train is being made from outside only. Indian Railways has already made train coaches, goods coaches and engines from outside manufacturers. These companies have been given a blue print of the technology of Vande Bharat train. So that this work can be done faster. 400 Vande Bharat train sets will be purchased from these companies.

The ready-made coaches will be awarded here, which will be the contract award for manufacturing Vande Bharat train sets from the Railways, it will be made in many production units of the Railways including Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, Marathwada Rail Coach Factory in Latur. Earlier, Indian Railways has decided to open its production units, factories and depots for the private sector. In order to build production lines in these factories, private manufacturers will have to make some structures. It is said that the government can give some more facilities.

18 sleeper Vande

Bharat will be made in the first year According to the tender of Vande Bharat, 18 sleeper Vande Bharat train set will be made in the first year. In the second year, 24 sleeper train sets will be manufactured and in the third year 30 train sets will be manufactured and supplied. Similarly, every year at least 30 train sets of sleeper variants of Vande Bharat will be made. It is known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a target of running 75 Vande Bharat trains to the Indian Railways by August 15 next year. Till now, only 4 trains are running on the track.
