Change surname in PAN card like this

  • Click on https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html
  • After that you have to fill the application form
  • In this form you have to give all the necessary information
  • This form has to be submitted online
  • Now select the cell which is created in front of your name and mention your PAN in the form
  • After this, the information given in the form has to be verified
  • After verification you have to click on validate
  • After that you have to click on submit

What is the charge on change of address

To change the surname, you have to submit this form and you will have to pay for it. You can make this payment through NetBanking, Debit Card, Credit Card and Cash Card. If you want to change your address in India itself, then you will have to pay Rs 110 for it and Rs 1020 for the address outside India. 

Hard copy has to be submitted

After the payment is done, you will have to download and fill the PAN application form. Now take out a hard copy through printout and paste your 2 passport size photographs on the form. Make sure you sign on this form.

Keep in mind here that along with the form, you will also have to self-attest some important documents. Apart from this, if you have applied for NSDL, then this application will also have to be sent to NSDL for post.
