Actually, the employees of Indian Railways are going to get the bonus of 2022 before the start of Dussehra holidays. The Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, October 1, approved a bonus equal to 78 days’ salary for railway employees, the Railway Ministry said. The Railway Ministry has also given information about this by tweeting.

Railway employees will get this bonus. The Ministry of Railways said that for the financial year 2021-22, non-gazetted railway employees, excluding RPF/RPSF personnel, will be paid Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 days’ salary.

According to the available data, about 11.27 lakh non-gazetted railway employees are likely to benefit from this decision. The Ministry of Railways said that the maximum amount of bonus payable to each eligible non-gazetted railway employee for 78 days is Rs 17951.
