Rain Alert: Weather changes can be seen in many parts of the country today. Recently, hailstorms occurred in many states including Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan, which increased the cold.

Mild cold has returned due to strong winds after the hailstorm. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that due to the effect of Western Disturbance, light rain and snowfall may occur in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Light rain and snowfall is expected especially in Shimla, Manali, Srinagar and Gulmarg from morning to afternoon.

Delhi-NCR weather

There will be mild cold in the capital Delhi and NCR this morning. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 20-30 km/hour. The maximum temperature can be 27-28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be 14-15 degrees Celsius. After the hailstorm, the humidity in the air has increased, due to which mild cold is being felt. There will be some relief due to sunshine during the day, but by evening cold winds are likely to blow again. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in Delhi today.

Uttar Pradesh weather

Changes in weather can be seen in Uttar Pradesh as well. Rain was recorded in Lucknow and other districts in the past few days, which has brought coolness in the weather. Today, many parts of the state may remain partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad of western Uttar Pradesh and Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gorakhpur of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The temperature may remain 12-15 degree Celsius minimum and 28-32 degree Celsius maximum. Winds may blow at a speed of 10-20 km/h, which will bring a slight coolness. The chance of rain is said to be 20-40%, especially due to the effect of western disturbance. The weather will remain mostly dry in cities like Lucknow, Noida and Ghaziabad, but there may be light drizzle in the morning or evening.

Weather of Punjab and Haryana

Due to hailstorm, crops have been damaged in many parts of Punjab and Haryana. Strong winds and cold mornings are being recorded here. The temperature during the day can go up to 26-28 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light rain in some areas. The speed of the winds can be 30-40 km / h.

Weather of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir

Snowfall and rain continue in the hilly states. The minimum temperature in Himachal and Uttarakhand can remain between 2-5 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in the high altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir can go below zero. The effect of cold can increase further due to strong winds.

Rajasthan Weather

There was hailstorm in the western parts of Rajasthan, due to which the cold has increased slightly. The temperature can remain up to 25-27 degrees Celsius. It will feel cold at night, while the heat can increase a bit during the day.

Recently there was hailstorm in some parts of Central India, due to which the weather has changed a bit.

Madhya Pradesh Weather

Strong winds are blowing after hailstorm around Morena and Gwalior. The maximum temperature can remain up to 25-28 degree Celsius. Mild cold can be felt in the morning and evening. The speed of the winds can be 20-30 km/hour.

Weather of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra

The effect of hailstorm was not much here, but the weather has become a little cold due to the winds. The maximum temperature can remain between 28-30 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 15-17 degrees Celsius. There will be sunshine during the day, but mild cold can persist.

East India weather

The weather is relatively calm in eastern India, but strong winds are blowing here too.

The temperature in Kolkata will be between 28-30 degrees Celsius, and it may be lightly cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain in Darjeeling.

Weather of Bihar and Jharkhand

The weather department has predicted light rain in these states. The temperature in Patna may be 27-29 degrees Celsius and in Ranchi it may be 25-27 degrees Celsius. Humidity will remain in the air.

South Indian weather

The weather in South India will remain mostly clear and warm.

Tamil Nadu and Karnataka weather

The temperature in Chennai will be 30-33 degrees Celsius, while in Bengaluru it is likely to be 25-28 degrees Celsius. Light cold winds will blow.

Weather of Kerala and Andhra Pradesh

In Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi may have light clouds, the temperature will be 29-32 degrees Celsius. Visakhapatnam will feel hotter, and the temperature can go up to 31 degrees Celsius.

Rajasthan and Gujarat

The day temperature in Rajasthan can go up to 30-34 degrees Celsius, while the night temperature will remain between 16-20 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of bright sunshine in Jaipur and Jodhpur.

Maharashtra Weather

The weather will be normal in Mumbai and Pune. The temperature in Mumbai can remain between 29-31 degrees Celsius and in Pune 27-29 degrees Celsius. Mumbai will feel humid due to sea breeze. The weather is changing due to the recent hailstorm and strong winds across the country. Cold and winds persist in North and Central India, while temperatures are rising in South and West India.

The effect of cold is deep in the hilly areas, and the plains will get relief from the sun during the day, but cold winds will remain effective in the morning and evening. More changes are possible in the next few days due to western disturbances, which may increase rain and cold in some areas.
