Residents of Greater Noida West are troubled by the menace of stray and pet dogs. The residents had appealed to the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) to provide relief from this. In view of this, the AOA of 11th Avenue, Gaur City-2 has implemented new rules for animal lovers. Under this, if a pet dog bites a resident, the cost of its treatment will have to be borne by the dog owner. If the dog owner repeatedly shows negligence, he will also be fined.

AOA President Sachin Tyagi said that several steps have been taken keeping in mind the safety of the residents. Under the new rules, now in case of dog bite, the dog owner will have to bear the cost. Sometimes there have been fights between animal lovers and residents. In view of this, a ban has been imposed on taking pet dogs to the basement park of the society in the presence of children and elderly people, so that the safety of the people can be maintained. Along with this, a demand has also been made to register pet dogs as soon as possible.

The residents allege that some people in the society are still not following the rules of AOA, due to which the residents are facing problems. If the rules are repeatedly violated by any dog owner of the society, a fine will be imposed by mutual consent. Sachin Tyagi said that at present, the fine for non-compliance of the rules in the society has not been decided yet.

Regarding this rule, animal lovers say that pet dogs should not be included in this rule. This is a wrong decision of AOA. Animal lovers are taking more care of their pet dogs than before. He says that if a stray dog bites someone, who will treat it, can AOA take responsibility for it.
